Limited Liability
Forwarders and carriers have limited liability, regulated by weight – not by the actual value of goods:
- •Road transport: 8.33 SDR (~€9) per kg gross weight
- •Sea transport: 667 SDR (~€750) per package or 2 SDR (~€2) per kg
- •Rail transport: 17 SDR (~€20) per kg gross weight
